Yeah, I have a 3 phase 63A socket in the workshop that is already wired up up in a suitable location near our test rack, with cable back to the fuseboard as thick as your ... err .. wrist. 3 phase without a neutral is bugger all use for anything except motors, but I could theoretically swap a phase for neutral, and have 2 phases, neutral and earth, put a bit of 125A SY on this little 3 phase distro board I have kicking about, and drop some sockets in for amp testing ... not forgetting to wire it back as 3 phase when we eventually move units ... Of course, I am sure swapping a phase for neutral in a 4 pin socket probably infringes a billion national electrical safety guidelines, so I obviously won't be doing that ...

Purchase 16MM earth cable and strap to side of existing cable run, then re-purpose earth inside "wrist" cable as neutral?

I think I've got one, unused Menekes powertop, possible it's socket though - I'll have a dig around and see..

If you clearly mark the earth core as being neutral at both ends, this is probably the most sensible thing to do then fit a 3P+N+PE Ceeform socket.

As it is rented unit, I'd rather leave the installation "mostly" intact, swapping the socket out is probably past where I would want to venture.
