I’m looking for a transformer for a Void Infinite 8 mk2, does anyone happen to have an amp for spares?

I’m pretty desperate to find one. Does anyone have any possible leads? Void dont have one. There’s must be a few broken amps out there.
Cheers Tom

Service Manual says the following:--- HV = 165V DC (+ & -). MV = 109.5 V DC (+ & -). LV = 54V DC (+ & -). The circuit shows EACH channel having AC voltages from the transformer going to three bridge rectifiers and are as follows:-- AC 40 VOLTS (LV). AC 80 VOLTS (MV). AC 120 VOLTS (HV). and of course a ground / center tap winding. Hope this helps. |

.... Not cheap, but if you have the old (dead) transformer you could always get it rewound. We use a very good local motor rewind company to rewind obsolete industrial transformers all the time...... sizes from a few av to 10s of Kva.

Thanks for the replies and help.
I spoke with Surrey amps and they gave a price that wasn’t out of this world but it would take around two weeks to manufacture a new transformer. I was petty desperate to have the amp repaired for the 11th August so finding a second hand transformer would be the only way. It’s looking like we will have to hire another amp for the time being. Cheers

It’s apparently shorting out inside the transformer 🤷♂️. We we’re running 3 hogs and 3 es18s at the time, they weren’t being pushed at all as it was on a 13a plug. Next minute it tripped the breaker with a nice smell coming from inside the amp.
It’s so annoying as we’ve been trying to save up to buy a Powersoft but now all that has got to be spent fixing this heavy lump!
