Carrying on with this, are these Citronic own brand Chinese drivers in these?  Was impressed with their 450w 15 a while ago..Made a nice noise in a reflex cab, had real depth and quality.
It's everything, not everythink!

These subs were sold down here in NZ for a while.

My friend purchased 2 new and had exactly the same problem, though he managed to figure out what was wrong and he has since had a good run out of them. Shoddy factory work-person-ship!
Turn it up! Turn what up?

They have no Brand markings on the drivers.... Hefty items, ally cast chassis...
yes Thank you Speakerplans! I knew it wouldn't rest till it was resolved! Hurrah! Just needed going over .... It's the push - pull which tripped me up...not now though!
NZ ones......Wired wrongly from new? Could that have got past quality control! They would have run em up? ...Surely? Though inside mine looked as if no one had been in there since new...

GGood to read all is sorted, however if the cabs had been tested/used in anger with drivers effectively unloaded, would that have potentially damaged/slackened the cones?
Previous owner might have spanked them due to lack of bass... Just a thought. However, deep bass now suggest no issues.
Freedom of choice, choice of freedom.

im sure they have been driven hard to get some bass out of previously.... Ive just run em up at the back of mine, so no real test, but they sounded good..so I'm in with a chance....Won't Be able to run em up properly till I get them in a venue maybe end of next week...
Will all be reavealed then....
