About to put up a pair of these for sale. People telling me they are worth real money, and don't sell, as they are very similar to drivers used in various historic Turbo/FK1 15" BPH. E.g low Qms/Mms. Opinions?

I thought that drivers for 4th order bandpass need to have high QMS.
Can you elaborate a little bit? Thanx

Qms is only one aspect of an ideal BPH driver's control/efficiency. Even though qms for Fane 15B400 is 3.64, the reference efficiency for the driver is 4.28%, indicating driver is exceedingly efficient, regardless of qms. Also with BL approx 25, driver motor still has very decent control. Also of importance is whether you desire more low end, or extension above 200hz. |
