2 way mid tops to sit on ES18s

Hi
I'm looking to purchase a pair of two way mid tops to sit on Es18s and am. looking for reccomend actions. I've been offered a pair of F1s for a really good price however I'm not convinced they'd go low enough to meet my cabs. The upper limit of the ES18s is said to be around 180 however the seller of the F1s assures me that when properly insulated/dampened I'll be able to run them up to 220 without the typical BPH honk. Can anyone confirm this because if so these are my ideal mid top! Failing that, general reccomendations would be appreciated.

Just to clarify things... are you talking about Martin Audio F1 or Funktion One (1)?
