What do you need to know? That is a thermal sensor which would normally sit against the heat sink, do you need explaining how it works, why it works, what's it for or why is it not in position?

You see that white blob of thermal compound on the heatsink? That's where it should be seated, someone has bent it out the way.

Id guess because it wast overheating and going into protect, so someone pulled it off to keep the amp running.
