Hi So I was attempting to insert wood inserts for the first time and to be honest, we've made a bit of a mess of it and two of the holes don't line up. Is there any harm in just rotating the driver, drilling new holes and filling in the ne ones? It seems like it would be okay but this is pretty much my only option. TIA

either that or plug the errant holes with a woodglue and sawdust mix (pva type... not polyurethane obviously) and let it set and redrill. Get the mix right and it goes as hard as hell.
Both will work fine

Another easy fix is to drill a bigger hole, glue in a dowel pin, sand it flush and then drill the correct hole through that.
