Hello! I'm planning to build a basshorn matching a pair of Turbosound tse-111 / LEM cx-800 Mid/hi tops. http://www.kirsch-akustik.de/downloads/Turbosound%20TSE%20111%20datasheet.pdf http://www.kirsch-akustik.de/downloads/tse118.pdf What is the best horn/kick alternative that plays from 40isch to 250hz without being honky. Have looked at 215 mkIII and DAS st-218 or is there any plan matching the old tse-118? http://hornplans.free.fr/martin_mk3.html http://hornplans.free.fr/das_st218.html http://hornplans.free.fr/tsw118like.html (seems to lack a bit in the higher end?!) The turbo 215’s can be split into singles. With the right driver you can achieve the desired frequency range. I had 8 at one point, kappa LFs and PD154 loaded. Both sounded great. The plans are on here somewhere.
