I've always wondered if truck forums have the same replies as here? "What's better, a Scania or a Renault?" |

I was there Sunday night for Tenacious D.
Big array hangs at the front. There was also a big cluster of point source hung over FoH which didn't seem to be on and looked very much like an install system. Unfortunately we arrived after house lights out, so didn't get a chance to see any badges. Jack Black did the usual thing of going round the band near the end and they all did a bit of a solo. He also introduced the lighting guy and called for a 'light solo' which caught him a bit by surprise as he clearly didn't have any buskable subs immediately to hand Nice moment though, first I've ever seen that. |

I like the lasers you use norty.
in the right hands they are truly awesome, I remember doing a few show with Jean Michelle Jarre back in the 80's mirror focus was long but intuitive.

I thought the sound was alright, but I'm not 'golden ears' and apparently easily pleased compared to some.
We were in the seating about halfway up and along on the north side and vocals were nice and intelligible, good punch and slap from the bass, and loud enough for my hearing to shut down a bit after a couple of hours. |
