can any of you ampheads help me? im looking for an amp that can handle 1 1600w rms sub @ 4ohms per channel. obviously need to be able to cope the low end. |

An interesting one to suggest... Wharfedale MP-2800 you can pick them up for around £450 each new. I have a couple of them which I run 2 fane 18XB's off each channel. They run all night long without breaking into a sweat. Only complaint is that they aren't the lightest off amps.

cheers for the suggestions but plans have yet again changed. got more for our old system than we expetced and i've also come into a bit of money.
taking note of advice from the forum over the last couple of months i've decided to go for 4 1850s loaded with V18-1000 and 2 mt122's. wont be happening for a while yet tho.
