Hi guys.

Does anyone have advice on insurance for PA gear please?

I'm thinking to insure PA against accidental damage and theft if possible at not to astronomical a cost.

May be asking the impossible but I'd like to get some quotes.

Cheers

I would bear in mind that as far as I am aware all insurers will exclude theft from unattended motor vehicles.

Allianz will insure unattended in vehicle...

They also do "Worldwide Unattended Vehicle", I have this and for 10K's worth of equipment the premimum is about £200 a year.

That’s a handy link as I had this question too 😊

One more thing to add... they also have a 0% APR monthly payments option.

Cheers guys. I'll look into those comments. The thing to bear in mind with insurers I've read is do they cough it up it comes to the crunch? Some of them can make it mighty difficult even when you think you're covered.

That applies to MDJN more than any other. Don’t use them.

Doodsons have always been great with us. Thankfully not needed a payout but I reckon that they would honour the claim as long as I wasn't really scamming it.

We had to make a fairly substantial claim with Doodsons and they were great.
