I've been out of the game for a while now and never used big amps before, all ran off 13a sockets as were less than 3kw per amplifier.
I'm going to get 10k and possibly 16k 4 way amplifiers for the new sound system.

For such big amps, what Rack mounted distro would you recommend?
I'm guessing it would be 32a in/out at the front and 6 16a outputs at the rear?

Cheers and good to be back on here after a ten year break

How about this?
Also what about when there isn't a 32a source?

im playing the same game. Need the flexibility to run off 13amp plugs if i have to but seems sensible to make the most of 32a at the bigger venues without rewiring the amp rack.

Just use adapters to 13A plug top in those venues. Put the bass amplifier on its own length and plug.

Managed to pick up this 32a in/ 16a out to 4 x powercon distro for £20 :)
Edit: yes no breakers, I will add my own. It's a good template to work on and was cheap.

Are there any breakers on it?
If not, it’s only worth the £20 for spares. You can’t use it.

I cannot see any breakers either better to stick to known brands ie Rubber Box, Viking and VDC still check ebay for these as well or have someone qualified build a custom one with powercons and breakers

good buy for £20 alright.. but as they said, no breakers. and it's weirdly made, with the inlet lead and powercons on the underneath, won't rack nicely like that.
