If you can get that ppx from dub for the right money I would do that. I dont know about the reliability of the ppx, nor how the crest or matrix sound, but i have heard my proel next 12hp8s on a ppx 900 and they sounded sweet.
Ive been on the lookout for a cheap one to have as my backup amp!

PPX900 is a great amp and will last forever!
I’m quite pleased as I quite fancy the Matrix as a spare

Now you tell me! that would have been almost perfect for my speaker set up. It was what I was looking for when I got my new Matrix. However, I do like the lack of weight of the new ones. I can carry 8kw of amps in a flightcase with a berry in one hand!
No harm in having spares and a pair of STR’s would be lovely in the house too!
