The AH range are, as far as I'm aware, pretty much identical to Thomann's T.Amps and some of the C-Mark stuff. Being that I currently own four T.Amps, of which three have developed faults, I would steer clear. That said, they do sound quite good when working, and are reasonably powerful. Faults I have seen are loud hums on both channels, channel B dying completely, and going into protect mode constantly when used on generator power.

Joe, I have an AH500 model that I use for testing purposes and as an occasional loaner.
The only problem I have found with it is that it does not fit the standard 19" racks as it is approx 3/8" (10mm) too narrow. I think you will find it has the same case as the AH700 or maybe it was corrected on later models. Tony p.s. yes it would be fine for your application.
