Any recommendations of things out there that will go through and look for unwanted crap hiding out in there? As far as I know there's nothing but the thing is running slower that it should and there are processes running that don't seem right in the activity monitor...

I'm a techie, so run Ubuntu as main OS, and Windows 10 in VM, when I need MSOffice or  obscure hw support.
