I'm considering different options painting my new speakers, maybe even varnishing them. However, if I use black polyurethane (the black pro-speaker paint) to paint the whole speaker but then add colors later on the parts I want colored, will that give a good result? Or will I be better off, screening off the parts I don't want painted black and then add colors there later. Basically I'm buildding scoops and I want to paing the front facingg parts in an orange color. The rest of the cabinet black.
