my rack configuration:
line in ---> mostec preamp ---> xta lms -->each amps
my electrical configuration:
a 32A to 6 16A cee,
r1: k10
r2: fx, mostec, cdj
l1: crest 9001
l2: turntable, fx, lights
t1: 12 "mids amp (AB class amp)
t2: one amp for 1 "and 2" mosfet ab class.
I have a big problem of background noise especially on the 12 "(180hz 1khz), and I can't understand where the noise comes from! When the signal is turned off just by switching on the amps you can hear this noise, I tried to change the amplifier but the problem remains , it seems to me a current noise, but how can I manage to "filter it"? I tried both to set the amps with lift and ground, but not much has changed, I also changed the signal cables from xta to amp but without results.
tips?

Is the noise there when you connect just amp to speakers (nothing going into the amp)? If not then work backwards, ie plug in the lms and try, then the preamp etc..

When it’s all set up and making the noise take the cables out of mostec, does it still make noise? No? Mostec at fault, yes fault further down, now unplug other end of cables from mostec to LMS does it still make noise? No - cables at fault, yes, fault further down. Unplug rest of cables out of LMS. Does it still make noise? No- LMS at fault, yes faults further down the chain. Unplug signal cables from amps. Does it still make noise? No, cable fault , yes - amp fault.
