Hi All,

New to this forum so I apologies in advance if I may be asking repeat questions. I have had a good search on the internet for answers on this but feel I’ve found nothing conclusive. However if there are any good thread links on this I would appreciate Smile

The dilemma..

I have 8 hog scoops. currently loaded with V18-1000's. 4 of the drivers are very old and the cones are beginning to soften tare around the edge. I have been offered 4 x V18-1200 drivers. I need to either recone my 4 drivers or I could buy the 1200's..

Has anyone here been running hogs with the V18-1200 drivers, if so what are they like? Has anyone compared them to the V18-1000 driver in test? What are they like for reliability.. The 1000's seem to be fairly bullet proof in hogs from my experience. Can you even get re cones for the 1200's anymore? Will having odd drivers in 4 of the hogs create some issues?Confused

I could be overcomplicating things with the V18-1200's....however they are at a reasonable price and if it would give the rig a bit more low end grunt I’m all for.

Thanks :)

The V18-1200 is discontinued for a long time and recone kits are not available unless you want to buy a pallet load. I would hard avoid.

Thanks for the reply :) yes, sounds like they're somthing you would have to run into the gound and bin.. However they are going cheaper than the cost of 4 recones for the v1000's...
