Lamp holder every metre or 1.5 not critical and around 30-40 metres total give or take.

I've got 50M harnesses, 1M spacing, plastic capped led clear "filament" lamps here. Cost to buy something similar, with similar lamps, would be approx £600. £10 to hire. 

also 100's of metres of connectable LED pealights if something more twinkly is preferred.
