Easter monday usually means Soundsystem gathering around here, no way this year, but have to keep traditions alive.
Furthermore I fear that this summer we will only have private sessions so better be ready for the river.
I had a couple 15nd930 lying around so I built a little sub, went for reflex with opposing drivers  joined to get rid of some vibrations, and 100% recycled materials, 18mm birch ply scrap for the structure, 15 cheap ply for top and bottom (from an old diy rack), foamcore and a sandwich of yogamats and very cheap 5mm ply for the sides.
Tuned around 55, with two ports, one can be closed to trade efficiency for extension.
Powered by a 12v Bassamp (maxamp20 with 150 Hz lowpass) and teamed with old-school ohm trs 112 powered by a maxamp20 with some Input caps removed to get a gentle low pass, powered with sla batteries, 12Ah or 4x7Ah.
Could use better crossover but so far this was all I had at hand to keep it fully 12v, sounds boomy inside but quite satisfying and loud outside,
It gets muddy when really pushed, needs steeper slopes and could use 24V, amps clip too soon - although it was enough to worry the neighbourhood at low volumes.
That Zoudio module looks perfect...

The foamboard, 20 mm deep, is quite solid, but is sandwiched between drivers, wich are solidly connected, and an h structure made of good ply cutoffs on the outside. Lot of foam builds on Diyaudio, but this one should take the road so should be more sturdy.

The yogamats/cheap 5mm ply does not work as good, vibates a lot and needs more bracing,  was not a good idea but better than just cheap ply
