Dual 4" driver Mid Cab. 500hz - 4khz

Polar Plots and dispersion graphs are without the phase plugs. ABEC3 and VACS (Horizontal plane)

I did sim the phase plugs in ABEC to get the path lengths right.

Phase plugs should get up to 4khz. Testing when drivers arrive

Very nice, i think they will reach higher than 4KHz,  What drivers are you using?

Thanks mate. Hope so.

B&C 4NDF34 4" 100w rms, 200w power handling. Only problem is the plugs need to stick out behind the cab into the driver cone space a bit more. I might rebuild them to do so after I test this.

Yeah getting it flush to the cone will help,  it might be easier to 3d print them rather than make them out of wood?

Yeah coz its small 3D printing might be affordable if it works.

Here is the dispersion at 4khz with the phase plugs. The frequency response SPL shows a huge rise at 2k but my mesh in ABEC isnt exactly right so hoping for the best in the live test.

Looks like a a time 3d printing might actually be viable, just stay away from the the nasty FDM printers. I would go for an SLA print.

Another option would be sikablock machined on 4 axis cnc.
