Robocolour.... that takes me back.

I had 4 sets (16 heads) of the MK1’s, they were a disaster and cost me a bloody fortune in lamps… luckily for your mate the MK3’s don't use 120V ENH lamps in series so that when one fails it takes out the other often with a loud bang!!

On a few occasions I had a pair of lamps fail and in the process took out the breaker in the consumer unit… on one occasion this was in the middle of the first dance at a wedding resulting in a very angry bride!!

Haha, yes - that sounds familiar.   Smile

And some people still prefer the old discharge lamps over LEDs. Like this guy who does a lot of theatre stuff. "Purer" light.   Ermm

Discharge VS LED is a matter of taste. But a LED Par64 is simply shait compared to the power and beam of a 500 watt raylight. Still got 8 bars with 4 cans on each. Love to take them out every time the power supply allows it :D

Yes, all true - but since I moved to LEDs, my 64A CEE & associated cable has just been gathering dust. Rolling up half-a-ton of stiff 5-core at the end of the night was never anyone´s highlight!  Tongue

If it's stiff you weren't drawing enough current through it Wink

We bought even more bars of 6 last year, as we often have 3 rigs of WWE out on tour. They still love the parcans and 8 lights, good for warming up a cold arena

Flip it around, nose pointing up... Then you got a excellent McDonalds-Burger Reheater... Just remember to use cans with safety grills inside. And dont leave the burger in for too long LOL

Ooohhhhh .... a rig with 4 500w raylight fourbars, 8 robocolor pro400s and 8 518s controlled by a masterpiece or later a mambofrog... weapon of choice for quite some weekends late 90’s, early 00’s... and when enough current available ..  2 8lites and 2 atomics.. and when wanting to inflict some backpains... an ALC68 laser and distro wobbly on some scaffolding behind the dj..

But ontopic... Sales-all in the netherlands might have some controllers, they are affiliated to the dutch importer of martin
