Anyone even heard of these before!? The specs are crazy and possibly even scoop worthy?

I don't think many people will have used them yet, as they've only been out for about a year-ish IIRC.
FWIW (if you didn't know already), the parent company SB Acoustics produce very well regarded drivers for home audio etc, and are generally considered to punch well above their weight for quality vs cost. Of course, that expertise doesn't necessarily scale up directly to much higher SPL applications.

Depending on the price point, the NERO one should be good in scoops according the spec.
It has fairly low power handling by todays standards but the spec do look good.

They look good, but at that price you can get 18SW115 or comparable..
