Hi all
What options besides soldering do I have to connect speaker cable to this driver? ...and how do they compare in terms of maintaining audio quality?
I've seen alligator clips being used but something feels pretty hacky about using them. Thanks in advance! Edited by northoftheriverswan - 26 September 2020 at 1:42pm |

Solder or faston type crimps. I’d solder every time in preference

Speaking from experience one needs to be careful not to flood solder down the braided cable and lose the flexibility..

Interesting that you have had this problem, not one I’ve experienced in far too many years

Lead in wires can wick. But if you set your temp right and don't go in cold plus leaded. I've never had issue. |
