I think a bit more information might help. Like:- What you want to print, Material & Size 3D printing might not need a lot of intervention, But large prints can take a looooooong time.

Good point.
Printing a horn for a line array wave guide, is approx 140mm x 120mm x 45mm. I guess some sort of PLA, have no knowledge on this subject tho. not sure if 3D printing this sort of component would work
