Hi all,
I have a 4 way rig (2x subs, 1x double kick, 1x MT130). I also have a pair of Bose 802 Series 2's. Would running the rig and the Bose alongside each other cause phase issues? Is it entirely dependent on placement? I'm yet to try it, thought I'd get opinions on the idea. Thanks

Yes it's about phase but it's also about SPL, unless the 802s get just as loud as the 4-way rig you won't be able to tell they are on. Worse still, because there won't be phase alighment putting the 802s right next to the 4-way rig will cancel some of it's output.

It would be hard to notice them alongside the larger rig. Only possible use that I can think of would be as very close DJ monitors. |

It's a difficult choice, would you rather have:

Yes I planned on having them in the booth area, and the rig next to booth.

As booth monitors they may work just fine.
