The driver will “Work” in both cabinets, however are these good options?…. NO!! You have a pro-audio driver that needs a larger box to get the best out of them. The enclosures in the links are for car audio sub drivers that are designed for a smaller box (at the expense of efficiency). The first link (0.8cu.ft/22Ltrs sealed) when used with your Beyma, will have an -f3 point of over 90Hz, and at 50Hz its over 10dB down from flat…. This is without allowing for the driver’s displacement within the box so the output will be even worse than stated above. The 2nd enclosure (1.15Cu.ft/32.6Ltrs, ported and tuned 36hz) is better but the box is still too small, and the box is tuned to low for the driver. The output will be about 8db down at about 50hz…. Again not allowing for the drivers displacement within the box. Ideally you should be looking at an enclosure of about 50 - 55ltrs (about 2Cu.ft) and tuned to about 45-50hz, this should give to a response that’s fairly flat to about 50hz with a -f3 of 45Hz and a -10f of about 37hz. you will also need to add about 10% to the box volume to allow for the space used for the driver and port. most home systems Ive heard are owned by people who would be better served with sub titles rather than sub woofers. It just sounds like someone humming badly to the music or film im watching. They also achieve pissing off everybody far enough away to experience the spare noise. see below
