Yeah, but now have 8x of my own design Scoops, for certain purposes, so can now try out Folded Horns for the right gigs.LOL

TBH, think I will just try out some WSX with various modern drivers.

Not all 21" Folded Horns, deliver the goods, as you would expect.

not even sure a 21" driver is useful to achieve this. large diameter voicecoil on multiple 12"/15" drivers is more useful with the required mouth, length and flare rate.

Plenty of ways to crush 40Hz and much lower. Vented, TH, ported horn, FLH...
Try not to confuse flat voltage response to 40Hz with ability to produce powerful output at those freq's. They are not the same. EQ helps when required. 

This is a moderate sized FLH with a single 18" driver. Strong output to about 35Hz.
