My Hd's have been rattling. I put in some battens to hold the baffle tighter against the side of the box and it seems to have worked. But I also thought that perhaps some acoustic foam glued to the insides would be an added help.
does anyone know of a good place to get hold of some foam appropriate to cutting the resonance at low freq.? thanks |

what wood are you using??
Ive never heard a HD rattle so i perhaps think about unscrewing n re-building them...adding more screws glue and bracing.....
mmmm........ unsure bout the foam tho...never use it myself......
