I was just about to order 5l Tuffcab, but I thought I'd ask y'all for any opinions or alternatives. Also, any tips on prep and possible undercoat would be much appreciated.

If your using tuff cab make sure you follow the instructions. A lot of people don't and screw it up. Everything you need to know is in this link.

WB coatings Warnex structure paint is good and used by a lot of pro companies.

Penn elcom or thomann should be able to send you a guide for warnex

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to if 5l is enough for 4 single 18 reflex bins?

I just sprayed 4 tham 15s with 5 coats which was about 5l. I think rollering it is more paint efficient but less time efficient. More coats would have been better but that was all the paint I had.

I would check the lead time on tuffcab. A lot of people have been waiting months.

i use epoxy 2comp coating from sigma paint.
also coated the workshopfloor with it, very durable!

use a roller to paint the cabs and after drying use a coating gun for bodyshutz/rust prevention and spatter on low pressure over the cabs! works like a charm!

If you want really good results, 5 lit is not nearly enough. At our G118 single 18 box we use a bit over 3kg of Warnex per box.

Warnex gives a harder finish than Tuffcab
