Any reason not to use NAC3MX-W-TOP on an audio amplifier lead? Then a NAC3FX-W-TOP to whatever is needed i.e 10amp, 15amp, 20amp, outlet plug (Australia/NZ standard) for example?

Very good connectors, now found on most new led screens and lights, 16a rated and good to disconnect under load (unlike the blue and white powercon) A lot of lighting and led companies are moving over to using them instead of the bulky 16a for tidier looms.

the metal spring thing that stops you opening without a tool is a PITA, is there a knack I haven't found yet?

The older ones loose their locking latches too easily, but the newer version seems better.
Keep pushing on, things are gonna get better.

The knack is….. Use a tool…

Neutrik replaced a whole load of connectors that lost their yellow catches for free, the joys of buying them by the metric fuckton.
