I've been finding I prefer to work with bare hands, especially on projects requiring some finesse, but when working with Gorilla Glue the dark residue is left on the hand for 1-2 weeks afterwards - not a great look when working in an office envionrment during the daytime
How are you working with PU glues? Are there any gloves type preferred for keeping the glue off the hands, while keeping the finesse and dexterity in the fingertips? Some woodworking forums are suggesting nitrile gloves so I'm thinking it's time to give them a go!

why do you want to use PU? apart from the problems you are experiencing it isn't as strong as PVA. Use a specialised wood glue - Titebond II seems like the best.

might an industrial barrier cream work?
I remember when I was little and wanted to help my Dad on the cars or tractors he would make me put barrier cream on first. The industrial stuff looked a bit like cream cheese and had a slightly grey colour. I use latex gloves for really dirty stuff, but maybe glue would stick your gloves to the work instead. PU is supposed to to be better on endgrain. Other than that, titebond 2 is good, as is the gorilla white wood glue.
Not all pu is the same. I like the purcol stuff. Seems better to work with. If you're getting covered are you using too much? I use nitrile gloves if i expect to get it on my hands.
