We have some Turbosound TQ440 and as far as I know these are recommended EQ settings. Trouble is I don’t know what it means. Could someone translate into a simpler format? Cheers

12 0 + 0.125 30Hz ** 1.31kHz * Auto (-1dB) -***@405Hz (Q=3),
-***@721Hz (Q=3)
6.5" + 1" -2 + 0.000 1.31kHz * 22kHz Auto (-1dB) -***@1.71kHz
(Q=1.7), -***@4.08kHz (Q=2.5), +***@10.5kHz (Q=2.0)

the 12" section (low) shall be 0db, polatity in phase (+), delayed by 0,125 ms to the mid/high unit, HP shall be 30Hz, LP shall be 1310Hz, additional EQ @405Hz -1.8dB (Q=3), and @721Hz -3.0dB (Q=3).
the 6.5"+1" section (midhigh) shall be -2db, polatity in phase (+), HP shall be 1310Hz, LP shall be 22KHz, additional EQ @1.71kHz -5.3dB (Q=1.7), @4.08kHz -2.2dB (Q=2.5) and @10.5kHz +2.2dB (Q=2.0).

No mention of crossover slopes..

Convention would suggest

Hi pass But24
Lo pass LR24
DMZ. "The bass was intense. Girls were literally running up to stand next to the subs"

30 Hz seems low, but it is meant to be a fullrange cab on it's own too.
With additional sub, highpass can go up to 60-70-80 Hz or so.

with the original TQ-425 (2x 15") sub, the TQ440's HP is moved to 125Hz AND reverse polarity on 12" as well as 6.5"+1".
