Rig advice Hi there. I'm putting a rig together and have aquired a pair of tops loaded with Colossus 12-MBs (500w each @ 8 ohms) and BM-D750 compression drivers (100w each @ 8 ohms). I also picked up a dual PD186 loaded mid section (700w each @ 8 ohms) box. I am constructing a pair of MS-8 MkIIIs to begin with for the bass with plans to construct an additional 2 in the future. I selected these as they seemed relatively simple to construct and will not take up too much space or be too difficult to move. I am still to get amps and crossover sorted and also choosing which driver to load the mini-scoops with. Advice regarding any of these issues are welcome and I will stress I am on a tight budget so keeping everything as cheap as possible is important. |

You have some very good components there to get started. If the budget is that tight i would load the PD.186's into the mini scoops and buy a cheaper pair of 18s for the other cab that im guessing will play upper bass between the 12s and scoops.
