I Remember hearing one of these designs at a hifi show in the 90s. Has anyone else experienced this?

The old Hammond Organs had a optional extra Bass box that had a revolving subwoofer in them, I heard a friend play his a number of times and tghe effect was very unique

I guess you are referring to a Rotary Sub that uses fan vanes to push the air. Not a Leslie speaker which uses a rotating baffle to create a tremolo effect
