Hello, I am currently going to buy 4 w8c speakers, I will be powering them with lab gruppen lab 1600, 8ohm 430w; 4 ohm 840w I will be running 2 paralel + 2 in paralel
Is this too much? Or should I find diferent amps?
On this set up I will have to use the speakers in passive mode, later on which amp do you sugest to power the high's?

They don't have a fully passive mode. They are either Bi-Amped or Tri-Amped.

To drive 4 boxes in stereo you need a 2 in 4 out crossover & four channels of amp power..

Use the Lab1600 for highs..

Get a Lab2000/2002/2600 to drive the low.
