All the JBL boxes that Tasco had were done the same way. Very practical. All of our horn cabs had supports like that, but we also put doors on the backs, Because the recessed backs became a bit vunerable out on tour.

a couple more photos......i got a bit carried away building horn boxes this summer...... the bottom two are 2390 Crinkle plate lenses.....again fitted with more 2445 drivers.

Ian, I think you should consider your collection of JBL to be a bit of a Museum. You could charge to let people see the display. Great stuff. |

good plan on having the driver poking out the back, will get on the job!! saw the jbl comp drivers for the first time in real life the other day.....there Massive! anyone have any for sale?
