For reference, the D&B B2 isn't horn loaded at all, whatever the D&B site says!  It's just a big 6th order bandpass with a flared port to reduce noise/compression etc.  Kind of like two X1's stuck together!  The flare is too short to be of any use at the frequency the box is used at.

The HD15,ES18-BPH,F1/Turbo bass bins of various types are bandpass horns as Jake says.  Characterised by a large front chamber (the bandpass bit) and a short to medium length port/horn flare.

Majicbox, if you want to be taken seriously on here you might have to cut down on the blatent plugging of your mystery box.

@ ceharden

Except when the B2 is used upto 125Hz in multiples then it is horn assisted although I have only ever used them as Subs in infra mode.

Here is a 2226 in a 'hit' box.

It has the horn loaded port that goes to the back, and up a ways. As you can see, it has gain ramping up above 60hz and peaking around 180hz at +10dB (relative to a normal box).

Interesting.Perhaps a replacement for the much touted T18,efficient tiny kick bass.
