I can't seem to picture in my head what the MT 122's would look like. Has anyone built these and have pictures available?

The picture really helps. I was thinking that there was a horn in the middle. I guess on could put a horn there if they wanted to. What I am wanting to do is stay in a three way system, with room for great female vocals and drum sound.

There is a horn in the middle....Only when I built them I had a seperate horn in another box...Since replaced by the correct Beyma CP800Ti and horn as originally suggested by Rog prior to P-Audio being "flavour of the month" (the mids are P-Audio SN12B, though)

them be a double variant of the selenium hb1505c1, as found by
navigating
through the constructions section of www.selenium.br, they are part of a
complete system called i think frento fundo.

Trio_Eletrico1.pdf

i was going to build 16 of them (they model nicely) but have opted to put
the drivers into a modified martin 215 mkIII instead because they are a
little more manageable and go lower with fewer boxes, on paper at any
rate...

james.

(as my text doesn't wrap i can't put big links like that as active, sorry!)

the best connectors to use and pretty much industry standard are neutrik Speakons.

I used 4 speakon NL4s on each cabinet in 2 seperate plates...in/out for Hi and Mid

James: The Selenium cabs go quite low (around 35Hz) in 4s...but they work best from 80-220Hz...but they go higher, if necessary, too...

A great and versatile design...Just a bit big, is all!

oh don't say that! i had really set myself on making a gigantic pile of them,
hornresp had shown that stacks of 8 a side had the potential for some
serious comedy. they are quite big though, ultimately when i worked out
that the martin bins were quite a bit more compact and seeing as how
transport space is at such a premium i thought i knew which way to go.

i have to face the fact that my martins might not happily cross to the 10"
mt122 variants though, my mkI bins may have given me a false sense of
security as the almost straight horn allows crossing above 250Hz with
seemingly little ill effect.
