Easy guys. I was just in the process of buying some Void V18 1000's  to go in some 1850 horns that i have. However these have now all been sold. The guy that was selling them has some wembley Bline 800's for sale and he says that these are better drivers. Does anyone have any experience with these drivers in an 1850 horn?

cheers.

Better than the v18-1000's ? He shouldn't really have told you that as they are 2 different drivers & perform different in various cabs. Maybe he just want's to sell you them!

I've never personally heard Bline 800's in 1850 horns, but going on what's seen on here, the v18-1000's are meant to work very good & are effective in folded horns cabs.

I reckon you should wait till more pop up!

The PA horn experts will soon let you know what's what!

I think it is entirely the wrong type of driver for the 1850 cab.

unless you getting them dirt cheap, like £50 a driver i would stick to the pd1850s or v1000
Produce a killer sound. Take no prisoners.

Cheers guys that's what i thought.....just didn't wanna miss out on a potential bargain. From what I've heard, it really is all about the voids in an 1850 horn.
