RCF L18S800 into an X1

   By the description that www.danmarx.org decsribes about the 6th order bandpass speaker, one can see why it will be important to use good speakers for this box. 
However, if someone wasn't using massive amounts of power in this box (say 500-750 watts), would someone get away with using a lesser speaker. I can't see the need for running that much power for my application. So what would be a great combination of speaker vs. amp. in this way?
Lets say 500 watts into an X1? Not needing earbleeding sound, just good clean bass and increased volume!
