hello all..has any one found any of the figures in the
mt122 plan needed adjusting? I cut up the wood for
the horn sections over a year ago but other things
got in the way...Just come back to them and checked
my marking, only to remember the problem i found
before.
The only way i can get everything to add up is to
adjust either the length of the first
section..shortening by a bit, or to make the side
flares 11degrees rather than 12.
With 220mm throat and 12degree flares I find the
324mm width for the mouth of first sec. at a point
some 15mm short of the 258 length required....be
very grateful if anyone can ease my mind on
this...maybe my tri-square is bent?

I tried to model the speaker with CAD but the results don't look too good. There even some more problems with the measures:

cheers for the feedback vivo....
so how come everyone else has built these ok?
Anyone?
Did those of you who've built successfully have
access to more accurate info or did you adjust either
the throat width or flare angles to fit the other
factors? Be interested to know..If someone else built
them a certain way and they sound good it seems
prudent to follow suit! Cheers...Jeth
