yeah it was but on reflection he said to get rid of any wadding in the
ports, so i did on mine and they sound wicked. I still have wadding as
per the diagram in the chamber.

Thanks Mal X for your relply. I made this topic because i saw some of your x1 photos not having wadding near the ports and i was unsure if i had to put some there..

So you are saying to remove the wading in the chaber (top port ) where the speaker cone is pointing ? does it sound better and louder , sry i know this is old topic but I`m making x1s so I`m interested
