What are the effects of folding a port, can it be done? Its just im struggling to fit a port into a box as its far too long however i can do it providing the port is folded or bent, is this okay?

I don't think there really is any difference. Mykey on this forum has fit folded ports in his XXL bin, and some designs which Rog posted had folded ports.
If the port is far too long something might be up, is it a very low tuning or does the woofer simply require a small box? |

its a very low tuning for a cabinet which is relativly small, its also quite a strange shape so once bent the port fits in quite easily actually
thanks for the help though mate ill go ahead with the folded port. |

It's okay, but it usually gets the tuning a bit lower than expected.
