fh on the plan states 119Hz with the SD18

I would say about 100Hz was the upper limit, preferably lower. Crossovers aren't brick walls so you need some response above the nominal crossover frequency.

Personally i cross mine at about 85 Hz, and that sounds pretty good but theyve got 186s in them. Kinda depends on the music sometimes as well, and whats above...
What do you think would be the biggest difference in the sound if i put V18-1000s in them?? Anyone? Peace

is the sd18 best for the design.or are the v18s and 1850s better
i have had my x1s a while just have not played with them much

V18s are beasty in the x1, but at high power levels the xover point should be somewhere around 80hz 24/db LR
