finaly got round to uploading pics of the es18 build which took us a nice sedate 4 months :)
ply chopped up and planed down largley by hand various potential handles final version of the handles bout 2 months in finaly painted and rounded all corners about 3 weeks before christmas after starting late july nice and menacing in their Edited by sKs01 - 06 January 2009 at 1:07am |

ply from B&Q, no voids that we found, good stuff, loaded with pd186's and the 4 of them sound kicky as hell together, its a really nice design in my books, i prefer it to the hd15 though its definatley less practical as its heavier and larger but just sounds nicer to my ears.

how does the 186 fit? not much room? or do they fit okay? if so i guess a decent alternative to the sd18??

Whats your take on the handles sks?
do they need them? i cant still decide whether to A) have no handles at all, or B) have 4 bar handles, 2 in the door, and 2 opposite.

what do they sound like as a sub? (e.g 50hz - 120hz) Thinking of build 4 and 2 MT121's to for bands. cheers

we have been running 4 off these for a while now running the 45hz to 250hz, which ins't ideal but they do sound good very kicky especially if you stand right in front of them we are currently building another 4
as for handles, we haven't got any on ours, they are not to bad to lift especially if there are 2 of you
