    Posted: 29 July 2005 at 10:44am

A mate of mine has a spare 15" driver and wants to make a folded horn similar to the 1850 or 186.

Would just scaling down the plans work or would that disrupt the sound too much????

Or are there any plans on the web for a folded 15"

Thanks

There's a bunch of folded horn designs for specific 15" drivers, what's the 15" driver and is it suitable for a bass horn?

I wonder what 15 inch folded horn[loaded with PD158] that is on PROAUDIOPARTS????

4 x Folded 15's

Looks like smaller version of 1850 horn to me.

search; parts express, selenium on google.  they have folded horn plans similar to cerwin vega earthquakes(and the ones in your picture..).  i halfed the double 18 version so it just uses one driver- im makin three more soon..  you could do the same with the double 15 version.

yup, I second that, this one looks good. Their plans are superlative, just depends if you want to stick to the Selenium drivers, or hunt down drivers with very similar parameters (which won't always be ideal anyway, in Selenium designed boxes)
