It doesn't make a diference as long as you're talking about the same amount of gear in the same space respectively? So we're all in agreement that the only advantage of the dual cab is intimidation? In such case; I'm building singles cause they're easier to move. :)

Question for deadbeat and the like:
No two drivers will be exactly the same due to quality control- Fs maybe +/- 1hz Vas maybe +/- 5L etc for the same model of driver So what is the effect of having two drivers (same model but inherent variation in specs) sharing the same volume. I know it will be negligible but surely it is worse than having a single cabinet for each. |
