Wondering what others have paired with the x15s to achieve a harmonious thump?!
I play a lot of jazz/ funk/ soul/ disco and US garage and house - there's a lot of acoustic sounds and live recorded production - i.e. not just drum machines and synths - certainly no "meth" house either. |

If you're playing a wide range of music, reflex 18's are probably going
to be the way to go. Being direct radiating you don't need any
time alignment with the X15's which simplifies things and you get
probably the widest useable range compared with bandpass and horns.
Depending on how much bass you want, 1-2 18" boxes per X15 should do you right. I don't have X15's but I run PS15's and similar tops with B&C loaded reflex 18"s with good results on everything from accoustic rock to house and D'n'B. |
