Are the any tops similar to the MT102's or MT122 that'll drop down low enough to sound alright with the looney style 1850's? or is probually best just to get a pair of hd15's or some kick bins?

MT102 is not a good choice. I have used this combination in the past and there is no good way of getting the cabs to meet nicely.

We are also looking to upgrade in the future as we still love the 1850's we bought off biotech any surgestions then on the best mid/top combo for under £1000
